By subscribing to or using any services provided by Bartel Broadband (“we”, “our”, “us”), the customer (“you”, “your”) agrees to abide by the following terms:
1. Services Offered
- High-speed fiber internet services.
- OTT subscription bundles via third-party platforms.
- Digital Cable TV services in selected areas.
- Equipment such as modems provided on rental/deposit basis.
2. Eligibility
- Customers must be at least 18 years of age to enter into an agreement.
- Accurate and up-to-date contact and address information must be provided.
3. Plan Subscriptions
- All plans are prepaid. Service begins only after full payment.
- Plan validity and speed depend on the selected package.
- Plan upgrades are allowed anytime. Downgrades within 3 months may attract a charge.
4. Free Modem Policy
- A ₹1000 refundable deposit is collected for the modem.
- The deposit is refundable only if:
- The service is used for at least 3 months.
- The modem is returned in working, undamaged condition.
- The modem remains the property of Bartel Broadband and must be returned upon service discontinuation.
- Physical/electrical damage, burnt parts, or missing accessories will result in forfeiture of deposit or recovery fees.
5. Installation Charges
- ₹500 is applicable for 1-month or 3-month plans.
- Installation is free for customers choosing 6-month or 12-month plans.
6. OTT Bundles
- OTT subscriptions are provided via third-party platforms.
- Access is active only while your broadband subscription is active.
- Bartel is not liable for app outages, platform changes, or third-party content disputes.
- OTT credentials must not be shared publicly or misused.
7. Equipment & Warranty
- Modems are covered for manufacturing defects during use.
- Damages caused by misuse, voltage spikes, water, fire, or negligence are not covered.
- Lost, broken, or unreturned devices will be charged at current market price or MRP.
8. Fair Usage Policy (FUP)
- Unlimited plans may be subject to fair usage limits to maintain quality of service.
- Excessive bandwidth usage may result in speed throttling.
9. Refund Policy
- No refund is provided for partially used plan durations.
- If a refund is approved (only in case of technical non-feasibility), it will be processed within 15 working days.
- OTT charges are non-refundable once activated.
10. Suspension & Termination
- Non-payment, misuse, or violation of terms can result in immediate suspension.
- In cases of illegal downloads, server abuse, or fraud, the service may be permanently terminated.
11. Limitation of Liability
- Bartel Broadband is not liable for:
- Interruptions due to fiber cuts, maintenance, or power outages.
- OTT platform issues or content disputes.
- Customer-side modem or device problems.
- Maximum liability is limited to the value of the subscription paid for the current billing cycle.
12. Privacy Policy
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data. Key points include:
- All customer data is stored securely and used only for service-related purposes.
- Data may be shared with OTT or billing partners with consent for activation purposes.
- We do not sell or rent user data.
13. Changes to Terms
- These Terms & Conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
- Continued use of services after changes implies your acceptance of the updated terms.
